Who gets your super when you die?

Your superannuation does not automatically form part of your estate on your death. In order to bring certainty to what happens to your super after your death, you will need to have in place a Binding Superannuation Death Benefit Nomination. There are different types and forms of Death Benefit Nominations and we can provide assistance to you in selecting the appropriate form and making sure it is properly signed and witnessed.

We also offer advice as to ensuring that your self-managed superannuation fund and your Will work in synchronization after you die.
