One of Australia’s leading Estate Planning Lawyers, Mike Fitzpatrick established his own estate planning firm in 2001, which merged with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in 2008. Mike led the Estate Planning Team at PwC Australia until his retirement from partnership in 2014.
During his time at PwC, he led a team of specialists to provide sophisticated Estate Planning and Succession Planning services to clients throughout Australia.
Since his retirement as a partner of PwC in 2014, Michael has returned to private practice.

As a lawyer, Mike has over 40 years of involvement in many facets of the law. He is a member of numerous professional associations and participates widely in presenting lectures and papers to professional groups on Estate and Succession Planning, Self-Managed Super Funds, Asset Protection and Tax Structuring.
Mike’s more than 40 years of legal practice (which includes 20 years of involvement in financial advisory services) have provided him with broad financial and estate planning experience. He practices extensively in the areas of estate planning, inter-generational wealth transfer testamentary trusts, Wills, advice on the use of appropriate tax structures for asset protection and business ventures and self-managed super funds where the combination of his legal training and wide commercial and financial experience has seen him develop advanced levels of practitioner skills.
